Our SEAL (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning) focus this term is entitled Getting On and Falling Out.  

The children will be focussing on:

working co-operatively to help a group

Our topics this term are 'Materials - liquids and solids' and 'Winter'.

We will be investigating types of materials, how to separate and change the state of different solids and liquids and weather around the world.

We will be doing games every Tuesday this term so please remember a full  kit.  All children need to have a coat to protect them from rain when walking to and from coach. There will also be dance on  Thursday afternoons. Every child needs a games kit in school. ( N.B.: black/navy shorts or tracksuit bottoms, white t-shirt and daps/trainers.)

Homework will usually be given out on a Friday and must be returned by the following Tuesday. 

Homework usually supports the work done in class that week or is preparation for the next week.  It is an important part of your child's learning and a chance for you to share what they do in school. Normally there are also weekly spelling lists and number facts to learn. All children should be reading daily at home.  Please support your child. Thank you.
