Welcome to Blue Dragon's class page.

The teacher of Blue Dragon Class is Alice Kirk and Tracey Ellis is the LSA.

This is what we will be doing this term

(Term 2 2009)

Our theme is Materials.

We will:

Observe and describe materials.

Group materials according to properties.

Know that some objects and materials can be altered.

Make a fair test and record results.

Explore magnets, make predictions and record conclusions

Investigate a range of materials

Make a simple piece of weaving.

Our SEAL (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning) focus this term is entitled Getting On and Falling Out.

The children will be focusing on:

working co-operatively to help a group.

being a really good friend.

keeping calm.

overcoming feelings of anger and solving a difficult problem with a friend.

PE is on Tuesday and Thursday so don't forget your kit!

Home work is every Friday and needs to be returned on Monday or Tuesday of the following week.
